PROPER HOLSTER BREAK-IN
Carefully unload the firearm and test fit in the holster. If your firearm fits very tightly, wrap the unloaded firearm with wax paper (provided) once around and seat it carefully into the holster. Let it sit overnight. Next, work the unloaded firearm in and out of the holster a few dozen times. Remove the wax paper and try again. If it is still too tight, repeat the process. Continue until you get close to the desired fit. Be sure not to overdo, as it is difficult to un-strech leather. Discard the wax paper and practice removing the firearm from the holster a several times. The holster should now be sufficiently broken in. Finally, repeatedly draw the unloaded firearm from the holster while being worn.
WARNING: Do not apply oil of any kind to any DGL product. Doing so will void the limited lifetime warranty.
Use “Lexol Leather Cleaner” to clean and moisturize your holster once or twice a year. It can be found at leather supply stores or some auto part stores.
